Clothed in Strength & Dignity

On Valentine’s night 2017, I had a date with Jesus. And on that night, He gifted me the vision for His Collection. The details were yet to come but steps were taken that very evening. The domain was purchased. A Facebook account was created. And every word He shared with me was journaled.

And then it sat, for nearly 2 years before I stepped into action.

And on the very day I stepped forward to begin the journey of what you now see, God showed me how even though it took me 2 years to get to that moment, He was working behind the scenes the entire time ensuring when my steps finally aligned with the path carved out for me, the right doors and connections would be in place.

He taught me He is faithful, no matter how small our steps may be. Or how long they take us to walk.

“Know therefore the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep His commandments, to a thousand generations.”

~Deuteronomy 7:9

In 2017 God led me to a nonprofit and during that year, He opened my eyes to the necessary work nonprofits do for their local communities and their need for sustainable revenue sources. He showed me how for-profit businesses must rise up to support the work non-profits are doing within their local community for this is the work of the Lord. We must tithe. And serve. And help sustain this necessary work.

“Jacob vowed a vow: ‘If God stands by me and protects me on this journey on which I’m setting out, keeps me in food and clothing, and brings me back in one piece to my father’s house, this God will be my God. This stone I have set up as a memorial pillar will mark this as a place where God lives. And everything you give me, I’ll return a tenth to you.”

~Genesis 28:20-22, TPT

In 2018 the Lord called me out in to the deep, deep waters where faith was the only foundation there was to stand on. In that year, He increased my trust, stretched my knowledge, and pruned everything in me and of me which wasn’t also of Him. He knew the work which needed to be done in the following year and was preparing me for it. My roots were planted in His Promises.

Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.”

~Mark 11:23

In 2019 the work began. And in this year, not only was there work to be done but also an increase in wisdom, a deepening of roots and a community to surround me with who would sow seeds of truth into me and help me run the race I’ve been called to in 2020.

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,”

~Hebrews 12:1

Our Beliefs

We are ALL originals.

Since this is the kind of life we have chosen, the life of the Spirit, let us make sure that we do not just hold it as an idea in our heads or a sentiment in our hearts, but work out its implications in every detail of our lives. That means we will not compare ourselves with each other as if one us were better and another worse. We have far more interesting things to do with our lives. Each of us is an original.
